Many times young Christians are taught to share their testimony about how Jesus (Yeshua) changed their lives. This is powerful, however, sharing the Gospel is even more important than our personal testimony. Again, it is important to share your testimony and remember what Elohim has done in your life through the salvation of Yeshua the Messiah. It is important so that we do not live in condemnation, but live in His grace, mercy, love, and forgiveness. Also, your testimony strengthens others. However, magnifying Matthew 24:14 (KJV) “And THIS gospel (the gospel that Yeshua preached) of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”, is why I write this piece. Many people do not know what the Gospel is. The Gospel is God’s good news and announcement that:
Now we wait for the second coming of our Messiah. He fulfilled being the lamb of God, and now he is coming as the Lion of Judah.
God is faithful! This is His good news, we have freedom to pursue Him, because Yeshua’s love and blood broke the chains of sin and death.
So this great news is the essential part of our sharing, and should be given freely, sooner than later.
Back to what the Bible says about the subject of “personal testimony”: Revelation 12:11 (KJV)11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
