Sharing the Gospel of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah

January 9, 2018

Many times young Christians are taught to share their testimony about how Jesus (Yeshua) changed their lives. This is powerful, however, sharing the Gospel is even more important than our personal testimony. Again, it is important to share your testimony and remember what Elohim has done in your life through the salvation of Yeshua the Messiah. It is important so that we do not live in condemnation, but live in His grace, mercy, love, and forgiveness. Also, your testimony strengthens others. However, magnifying Matthew 24:14 (KJV) And THIS gospel (the gospel that Yeshua preached) of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”, is why I write this piece.

Many people do not know what the Gospel is. The Gospel is God’s good news and announcement that:

  1. Yahweh Elohim (God) is faithful (Deuteronomy 7:9, Psalm 36:5), in that, He fulfilled His promises that were given to His prophets and servants, of giving His salvation to the world.
  2. This salvation is the Messiah, His son Yeshua (Yeshua means Yahweh’s salvation) the Messiah, who came in the flesh, and lived a Holy and faithful life on earth, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Yeshua never sinned.
  3. Yeshua fulfilled all of the words of the law and the prophets (Gen 3:14, Gen 49:8-10, Micah 5:2-5, Isaiah 9:7, Isaiah 7:13-14,Psalm 72:10, Exodus 13:2, Zechariah 9:9, Deuteronomy 18:15, Psalm 35:19, Psalm 109:4, Isaiah 11:2, Isaiah 40:10-11, et al.).
  4. Yeshua healed the sick, did miracles, cast out demons, preached about the Kingdom of God, was an authority on the will of Yahweh Elohim (God), and He loves us.
  5. He died on the cross for the remission of sins, so that we may be empowered to become children of Yahweh, holy and knowing the will of Yahweh, when we believe on Him.
  6. He rose from the dead on the 3rd day, in flesh and bone, ascended back to the Father in Heaven, and sent the gift of the Holy Spirit, so that we will overcome evil.
  7. If this Full Gospel falls on open and earnest ears, the hearer has a desire to repent. That is one of the major points taken out of preacher’s incomplete gospels: Repentance from living as a sinner to living like a saint, seeking first the Kingdom and His righteousness in the scriptures, Holy Spirit, and prayer. And get baptized (fully immersed in water) in the name of the Father, son, and the Holy Spirit.
  8. Do not be intimidated with the response you see people have, to the full Gospel. It is not for us to judge the hearer, because we are simply planting the seeds of the Gospel, and Yahweh works on the heart. Just share it in love.
  9. The 2nd reason for writing this piece is Galatians 1:8:
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we (The Apostles) have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”
  10. Some may ask, “How do you know that this is the Gospel?”…. We know because the full Gospel is documented in the Hebrew (Old Testament) and New Testament. The Apostles were thorough in writing it out plain and simple to all the churches in their epistles, and the same Gospel applies today.
Now we wait for the second coming of our Messiah. He fulfilled being the lamb of God, and now he is coming as the Lion of Judah.
God is faithful! This is His good news, we have freedom to pursue Him, because Yeshua’s love and blood broke the chains of sin and death.
So this great news is the essential part of our sharing, and should be given freely, sooner than later.

Back to what the Bible says about the subject of “personal testimony”:

Revelation 12:11 (KJV)

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
